Glass is an experienced, multi-talented choreographer, dancer, makeup artist &
entertainer. As a choreographer she has worked with some of the biggest names in the music
industry. Crystal did choreography for Black Box Tour, Supercat & Heavy D Video, Big
Bub for Showtime At The Apollo & Shabba Ranks in the height of his career. Crystal was
also lead dancer for Shabba, and choreography the live stage performance of Mr. Loverman
& appeared with him on "The Arsenio Hall Show". She has countless credits to
her name.
As a dancer Crystal appeared in numerous music videos
including Teddy Riley's group BlackStreet. On stage, Crystal toured with Mary J. Blige,
and Technotronic's "Ya Kid K".She has performed in "An evening with Gregory
Hines" benefit concert, the "Easter Extravaganza" at Radio City Music Hall
and was a featured dancer & co-choreographer for The Apollo Dancers at the infamous
Apollo Theater.
Crystal is devoted to art of dance and actively teaches in and around Manhattan. She has
taught at some the most respected institutions including Alvin Ailey American Dance
Theatre, Broadway Dance Center, Connecticut Ballet Company and Eighth Avenue Studios.
Crystal, a SAG/AFTRA actress, appeared in over 30 films and television productions. Some
notable films are Laurence Fishburne's "Once In The Life", Copland,
Rounders,U.S. Marshalls, Malcolm X, and The Thomas Crown Affair. On TV she has graced such
shows as Sex & the City, Now & Again, NY Undercover, OZ, and The Chris Rock Show.
Crystal's training is an extensive list of schools & institutions from everything to
voice, martial arts, weapons, stunts, and fencing. She received her BA Degree in Film
& TV from New Jersey City University and studied acting with various teachers
including Robert Earl Jones in Harlem, Nina Dova at the Sag Conservatory, and Henry Street
Settlement.
As the choreographer of THE DJ CHEF DANCERS, Crystal's creativity, style & experience
will play a big part in the show's musical expression.
